Our youth team is incredibly excited for our summer camp this year. Camp Nashville will take place from July 19 – 22 in our very own city. This is a little different than the camps we’ve done in the past, so check out the details below!
Rising sixth graders through rising eighth graders are invited to participate. Brant and Shelby will be leading the camp with help from the men and women who volunteer with the youth team and are involved with Midtown.
Camp Nashville will be a mix of service, small groups, teaching, and fun. Students will be dropped off at the new Midtown building on Wednesday morning and will be picked up Saturday evening. The church will act as a home base where students will sleep, eat, and hang out. In the mornings students will learn how to spend time with Jesus and continue in the small groups they are in during the year. From there they will head out to service sites, experiencing what it means to serve in our city. Evenings will involve teaching, games, and fun. Saturday will be a day of fun hanging out with each other and volunteers while canoeing on the Harpeth.
8:00 am on Wednesday morning, July 19 through dinner on July 22.
The Lord often uses summer camps to deeply influence students, and we’re excited to leverage the camp experience to disciple the kids who are a part of our middle school ministry. Doing camp in Nashville has several unique advantages. This location makes it feasible for our volunteers to participate in students’ camp experience, makes camp more accessible for students in terms of cost and location, and allows us to build a sense of community among our growing middle school group.
The cost is $175 per student until June 9 and $215 per student after June 9. Please don’t let money be a reason that your child doesn’t participate in camp. Scholarships are available. Email Brant Bonetti if you need a scholarship.
