This full-time position will provide support to assigned Midtown congregations through an administrative capacity. Priority will be given to regular attenders of Midtown Fellowship.


Central Ministries & Services (CMS) is the administrative engine of the Midtown movement. CMS provides administrative, logistical and operational resources for all Midtown congregations.  Work in a CMS capacity, solving problems and completing projects for assigned congregations while aiding the CMS team members.


  • Work under the direct supervision of Direction of Administration (Julie Gilpin)
  • Co-labor with administrative team and interact with all staff members
  • The position is 40 hours a week in the 12 South office
  • Availability on occasional evenings and weekends

General Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling/Calendaring – assist in scheduling meetings, request meeting dates, wedding and baptism requests
  • Event Coordination – book time and space, create registration, submit shopping list, coordinate graphics
  • Sunday Morning Logistics – welcome table, coffee, decorating for holidays/special events
  • Communications – communications for events, welcome table pieces, assign design project
  • Data Management – data maintenance and hygiene, volunteer management, visitor cards
  • Membership- Explore Midtown support, coordinating elder interviews, transfers
  • Website- regular maintenance, checking sermons, maintaining congregation homepage
  • Ebulleting/Email Communication – building and sending bi-monthly ebulletins, send mass email
  • Social Media – scheduling and posting to social channels, responding to followers
  • Kidtown Support- prepping curriculum, craft preparation, room decorations, volunteer management
  • Debit and Expense Forms
  • Preparing documents when needed (printing, cutting, folding)
  • Cooking for staff and Midtown events
  • Decorating the Sanctuary spaces for holidays and special events
  • Prepare and upload slides for Sunday mornings
  • Preparing supplies for Sunday mornings & emailing setup leads (grinding coffee, arranging flowers, etc.)
  • Various other projects
