“The heart of hospitality is about creating space for someone to feel seen and heard and loved. It’s about declaring your table a safe zone, a place of warmth and nourishment.”
We are excited to gather together the women of Midtown for another time to retreat from the on-going movement of our lives & step into a space of rest & breath. We hope this retreat creates a space for you to feel safe, seen, heard, and loved.
This year will be a one night retreat including teachings, small groups, quiet time, activities, and of course, delicious food! Our teachings this year will be lead by Jenny Cleckner and Renee Draughon – two women who have called Midtown home for many years. Between hearing from these ladies, we will take time to break into small groups where you will be meeting with old and new friends from the Downtown & diving deeper into each other stories.
The Spirit is continually chasing after us and our time, so we want to create space for individual quiet time, as well. This will be a space to sit with our thoughts & questions alongside scripture alone with our God.
Will you come and join us? If this is your first time and you are feeling intimidated walking into a room of strangers, know we are right there with you. We hope you will be courageous with us & know the Lord has something for you here. He’s brought you to this page for a reason.
