How not to be stressed out, Step 4

Verses 10-13
“Good friends, good books, and a sleepy conscience: this is the ideal life.”
― Mark Twain

Not sure that Paul and Tom Sawyer are always on the same page.
Contentment isn’t the goal or target of life, for if it’s something that we are working toward, what a miserable journey until we get there! Contentment is the bedrock and foundation that we are to use to live out God’s call on our life. The Gospel makes it clear that we are the rare few that don’t live life to find peace, but rather we live life out of peace. Paul gives us four keys to a content life.
A content person is confident in God’s providence
A content person is satisfied with little or much
A content person is independent from circumstances
A content person is strengthened by divine power

Are you content?
What are the roadblocks that keep you from contentment?
How can you let your brothers and sisters in Christ help you live in contentment?
