Christmas falls on Sunday this year. What a gift! What an opportunity! We, as a people, gather to worship God on Sundays. We do it every other Sunday of the year, and we\u2019ll be meeting together on Christmas Day as well!<\/p>\n

Church on Christmas may seem out of line with your traditions, yet it\u2019s the most intuitive practice possible for people who know that Christmas is ultimately about God\u2019s loving provision of his Son to be our Savior. Our Christmas morning worship service will set aside time and space to reorient our hearts as we celebrate this gift together. We will sing, read and listen our way through a\u00a0short, family-friendly service<\/strong>\u00a0that points us to Jesus. This is not a stuffy, get dressed up and control your kids kind of event. Save that for Christmas Eve. This will be a\u00a0fun, casual, come-as-you-are service<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The fact that Christmas falls on Sunday also provides us with a unique opportunity to live out the spiritual reality that we, as the church, are the family of God. We want to enjoy each other, gather together and mark this holiday as brothers and sisters in Christ. And what better way is there to live into that reality than eating together?
