As we learned in our study of Matthew and specifically Sermon on the Mount this spring, Jesus calls his followers to be salt and light in our communities. But what does it practically mean to be salt and light in our everyday lives in Nashville? Join 12 South women this summer as we gather around the table to dine and discuss excerpts from the book, The Gospel Comes with a House Key by Rosaria Butterfield. This book will help us consider one practical way that the Bible itself names as important in being salt and light: hospitality.
We will kick off with a potluck-style meal in the 12 South sanctuary on Thursday, June 20, 6:00-8:00pm, and there will be opportunity for follow up discussion after that. Please register at the link for the kickoff event!
