Baptism is a sign and seal that marks a person as belonging to the community of God and participating in Christ’s promises. Performed by sprinkling with water in the name of the triune God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit), this is one of the two sacraments practiced at Midtown Fellowship.
A person who has professed faith in Christ may be baptized, as well as the children of members.
Baptism is a community endeavor, where vows are exchanged and new people are welcomed into the family of God. For this reason, preparing for baptism is a community endeavor.
