"Welcome to Midtown"- That sounds kind of funny, because Midtown isn’t a website or even a building with pews and stain glass windows. Actually we meet in a warehouse/music venue and we sit in luxurious golden plastic folding chairs.
So what is Midtown? It is a community of people that are on a journey - a journey of experiencing the reality of a living relationship with a living God. We are a casual group of city dwellers that love a great cup of coffee, good friends and honest discussions about inconsistent messy people knowing and being loved by a very consistent unmessy God. Whether you are a long time Christ follower or someone that has more questions and doubts than faith (or both), Midtown is a safe place to journey. We would love for you to join us.

Midtown's offices are moving on August 30 and we need your help! Moving day starts at 9am and coffee and donuts will be provided!
We will be moving from the current office location at 2907 12th Avenue South to the big white church located just down the street at 2415 12th Ave. South, across the street from Mafiosa's.
If you would like to volunteer to help, please post a response on this forum letting us know. Thanks!

Adventure, travel, relationships, fulfilling work...Interesting, isn't it?  Well, unless you can make yourself free October 18 and 19, don't watch the "60 Minutes" clip at www.ramusa.org.  Because a group of midtowners will be travelling to Huntsville, TN, on these dates to work with Remote Area Medical (RAM), a charitable organization which provides free health care, dental care, and eye care to uninsured or underinsured people in remote areas of the United States and the World.  No skills are necessary-for this kind of mobile health clinic to happen, they need 200 unskilled volunteers.  Any and all doctors, dentists, and vision care professionals are needed and welcome as well.  Email jeremy@jeremykelton.com for more info.

The Kidtown August Newsletter is up!  Click HERE to see what's going on in Kidtown this month!!!!

If you are interested in joining any of these service teams, please email the office.
WEB TECH- We are putting together a team of volunteers that responds to trouble tickets related to our website (created by our staff). The ticket system is perfect because volunteers on this team can log in from anywhere whenever they have even just a few spare minutes and respond to tickets according to their knowledge/skill levels. The only official time commitment is a once-monthly one hour meeting in the office.  All skill levels welcome!

SUNDAY MORNING SET-UP- Because Midtown meets in a warehouse, we have set-up teams who actually physically set up the main meeting room with chairs every week.....and then take it all down after the service. Serving on a set-up team is a great way to get involved and meet some new people. Each team has 10-15 members and serves 7-8 times per year.
