Making Sunday happen

Through Sunday worship we experience and call others to come experience the goodness of the Gospel. Worship is participatory—both during the service and as we use our gifts to make Sunday happen. Check out our Sunday service teams below.

Our children are important members of our community. Every Sunday, a team of volunteers disciples our children (infant–3rd grade) through song, story, play, and art.  We also have openings for Kidtown coordinators who assist the Kidtown Director on Sunday mornings with check-in and other tasks that require an extra set of hands. Join the team!

A smiling face, someone remembering your name, and clear directions go a long way toward making Midtown East a welcoming environment. Make Sunday warm and friendly for regulars, people who are new, and everyone in between.

Though our service is not a show, excellent artistic worship glorifies God and opens our hearts to the beauty of the Gospel. Join our team of talented musicians and audio engineers, or run slides during the service.

Midtown Youth is our ministry for 6th-12th graders from every Midtown congregation. If God is placing a call on your heart to serve Him by building relationships with and discipling the students of Midtown, please consider reaching out to a Youth staff member to learn more!

Serving Our Community

As people who have been brought into God’s kingdom through Jesus Christ, we participate in seeing his kingdom come more fully in our world. This happens as we love and serve our community, declaring the nature of this kingdom with our lives.

Service opportunities

As a church, we invest intentionally in Stratford High School through YoungLife and various service projects throughout the year. To find out about service opportunities as they come up, sign up for our biweekly ebulletin here.

Meal trains

We also rally around each other in times of need by providing meals. To sign up for text notifications when there are opportunities to provide meals, click here
